Itinerary :
Day 01 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
Your 2-day desert adventure begins with an early departure from Fes. The first stop will be in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” where you can enjoy its alpine-style charm and take photos.
The journey continues to Azrou, famous for its cedar forest, where you can see the playful Barbary macaque monkeys. From there, travel through Midelt, known as the apple capital of Morocco, where you will enjoy a local lunch.
In the afternoon, drive through the Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s most beautiful valleys with palm groves and dramatic rock formations. You’ll pass through Erfoud, famous for fossils and local crafts, before reaching the dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga.
Here, camels will be waiting to take you across the golden dunes on a memorable trek to watch the sunset over the Sahara Desert . At night, enjoy a delicious traditional dinner, live Berber music, and an overnight stay in a comfortable desert camp under the stars.
Day 02 : Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Fes

Your journey back to Fes takes you once again through the spectacular landscapes of the Middle Atlas. Along the way, you will stop for panoramic views, photo opportunities, and free time for lunch.
