Itinerary :
Day 01 :Tangier – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen
Your adventure begins with pick-up from Tangier (port, airport, or accommodation). We drive through the beautiful Rif Mountains, passing charming landscapes before arriving in the iconic Chefchaouen, also known as the “Blue Pearl.” Explore its narrow streets filled with blue-washed houses, artisan shops, and the vibrant Uta el-Hammam Square. Overnight in a riad in Chefchaouen.
Day 02 :Chefchaouen – Meknes –Fes
After breakfast, we leave Chefchaouen towards Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Highlights include Bab Mansour Gate, Sahrij Souani basin, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later, we continue to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Wander through its UNESCO-listed medina, where history, culture, and traditions come alive. Overnight stay in a riad/hotel in Fes.
Day 03 :Fes – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert (Camel Trek & Desert Camp)
Today we head south, passing through Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forest of Azrou, home to Barbary macaque monkeys. Continue through Midelt and admire the panoramic views of the Ziz Valley, dotted with palm groves and kasbahs. In the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga Desert, where you’ll take a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, stopping to watch the sunset over the Sahara. Dinner and overnight in a Luxury desert camp with music under the stars.
Day 04 :Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we leave Merzouga towards Erfoud, famous for fossils, then continue to the stunning Todra Gorges, where you can enjoy a walk along the river between the towering cliffs. We then pass through the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses, known for its annual rose festival, before reaching Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa.” Overnight stay in a riad/hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 05 :Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
After breakfast, we explore Ouarzazate, visiting the Kasbah Taourirt and, if interested, the famous film studios. Next, we head to the legendary Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and backdrop for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After lunch, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, arriving in Marrakech by evening. Overnight in a riad/hotel.
Day 06 :Marrakech – Departure
After breakfast, free time to explore Marrakech at your own pace before your transfer to the airport. This marks the end of your 6 Days Morocco Tour from Tangier to Marrakech.
